The program, written by the Women of Guyana, will be followed by a time of fellowship with other local congregations in the fellowship hall.

Sunday, March 23 - Easter Sunrise Service will begin at 7:00 A.M. and will be followed by breakfast in the fellowship hall.  Don't forgot to bring live flowers for the living cross in the fellowship hall.

Wellness Corner

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and National Nutrition Month.  Look for information on colon cancer and the appropriate screening tools, as well as information on nutrition on the bulletin board in the breezeway.

Work off the holiday bulge with the New Bodies exercise group!  The group meets every Monday and Wednesday in the fellowship hall at 6:15PM.  Come out and join the fun and fellowship!  The group is currently focusing on exercises for sculpting, toning, and cardio.  All skill levels are welcome.

Relay for Life

It's still not too late to join New Hope's Relay for Life team.  If you are interested in being part of this team, please contact Emily or Elaine as soon as possible.  The event is scheduled to take place this year May 2 through May 3, 2008 at Newberry High School.

A jar to collect loose change to benefit the American Cancer Society has been placed on the table in the back of the church.

You may also purchase luminaries for the evening in honor/memory of family members or friends who are fighting or who have lost their battle with cancer.  The cost is $10 each.  Forms can be picked up from the back of the church and returned to the basket.  Luminary sales will end by mid-April. 

There will be a spaghetti lunch on March 30 following the informal worship service.  Plates are available for $5 each and a bake sale will be available.  All proceeds will go towards the Relay for Life.  Checks should be make payable to the American Cancer Society.  Please see Elaine to purchase your places.  The deadline to order is Sunday, March 23.

Children's Library

The children's library is open and located in the room on the right as you enter the church.  The library is open on Sundays.  If anyone has books that would like to donate or suggestions for the library, please place them in the box labeled donations.  We hope this ministry will eventually contain materials that will interest each age level of the congregation.

Church Directories & Yearbooks

We have extra copies of the photo directories and church yearbooks if anyone would like to purchase one for family members or friends of the congregation. Please contact Elaine for more information.
